Library Development Review
The annual Library Development Review highlights our collections, honors our Library Friends, and celebrates extraordinary gifts to the University of Tennessee Libraries.
In this edition you will learn about new digital collections (including Charlie Daniel's editorial cartoons), renovations to the Commons in the John C. Hodges Library, and a hidden treasure found in Special Collections.

Giving to the Libraries
No one ever graduated from a library; no one ever graduated without one...
While the University of Tennessee is a state-assisted public institution, it receives less than one-third of its support from the state of Tennessee. The remainder of the university's budget comes from student tuition, fees, auxiliary enterprises, contracts, grants and charitable giving. Private gifts to university libraries can mean all the difference between offering basic services or providing world-class resources.
The University of Tennessee Libraries serves the university's undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. Your gift to the Libraries helps support the acquisition of new materials, preservation of collections, new technology, rare books and manuscripts, and more. Make a donation and become a Friend of the Library today! To become a Friend, click on the Become a Friend link above and donate to the Fund for University Libraries online. Or, print page 2 of the Friends of the Libraries Brochure and select your payment method. We are grateful for your support!
